How the SAN Shared Storage Option and CASO work together

The Backup Exec SAN Shared Storage Option (SSO) and the Central Admin Server Option (CASO) can be used together to provide the following:
Separate license keys can be purchased and entered for both SSO and CASO for installation on a Backup Exec media server. The CASO server and the SSO primary server should be installed on the same Backup Exec media server to centrally manage all shared devices. Additional SSO licenses are required for each Backup Exec media server that shared the centralized device on the SAN.
