Table: Group management actions describes the actions that you can perform when you manage your groups of computers.
Table: Group management actions
Create a group
You can read about groups and how to create them. The newly created groups are listed as child groups under the My Company parent group.
See Adding a group.
Import existing groups
If your organization already has an existing group structure, you can import the groups as organizational units.
Disable inheritance for subgroups
You can disable inheritance between a subgroup and a parent group.
Manage security policies for groups
You can create security policies based on the needs of each group. You can then assign different policies to different groups.
Create locations within groups
View a group's properties
You can view the groups to check whether the client computers are in the correct group. You can also check the policy number that is assigned to the group.
Move a group
You can move one subgroup to another group if you want to automatically inherit the policies of the new group.
See Moving a group.
Add and manage the client computers
You can manage clients from the group. For example, you can add clients to a group, run and monitor endpoint protection, and view information about the clients.
