You can edit the name and description of a local or a remote database.

You can also edit the name of the database by using the Management Server Configuration Wizard.

To edit the name and description of a database

In the console, click Admin, and then click Servers.
Under View Servers, expand Local Site.
Select the local database or expand Remote Sites to select the database of a remote site whose properties you want to edit.
Under Tasks, click Edit Database Properties.
In the Database Properties dialog box, edit the name of the database in the Name field.
In the Database Properties dialog box, edit the description of the database in the Description field.
Click OK.
