You can perform an on-demand backup of a Microsoft SQL database from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console or the Symantec Database Backup and Restore utility. The Symantec Database Backup and Restore utility is automatically installed during the installation of the management server. You can also use the Database Maintenance Plan wizard that is included in the Microsoft SQL Server software to back up the Microsoft SQL database. The Microsoft SQL Database Maintenance Plan wizard can also help you set up a backup schedule and other maintenance tasks.
See the Installation Guide for Symantec Endpoint Protection and Symantec Network Access Control. It provides information on how to back up a Microsoft SQL database with the Symantec Database Backup and Restore utility.
