Problem
Windows Installer Error 2343: Specified path is empty during installation.
Environment
Cause
If a System Search for a Directory is performed and is not found, the name of the directory is blank. This would cause the error 2343 if the property is used in a directory path.
Resolution
Enter a default value in the property table for the System Search value to make sure that the property can never be an empty value. This error can also be seen when using a Set Directory action and pointing to an incorrect path.
