Does PC Transplant support the migration of ODBC Settings?

PC Transplant was designed to be a desktop migration utility, not a server migration utility.  While PCT does not natively support the migration of ODBC settings, users can create their own a2i file to perform the migration of these settings and files.

More information on building custom a2i files can be found in the PC Transplant Technical Reference Guide (PCTransplantref.pdf file in the PCT folder).  It's also suggested to look at existing a2i files to understand how they are created.  These can be found (in English) in the EN sub folder of the PCT folder.  Open the a2i files with notepad to edit and read in plain text.

An a2i builder utility is included with PC Transplant but some a2i files are easier to build in notepad.

Altiris Support Services does not support or configure custom created a2i files.  If assistance is required to build custom a2i files please contact Altiris Professional Services.
