This article describes how to uninstall PGP Universal Satellite.


This article details two methods for how to uninstall PGP Universal Satellite. These include when you intend to reinstall PGP Universal Satellite or when uninstalling to disable email encryption.

Uninstall/reinstall PGP Universal Satellite

 

  1. Click Start > Control Panel then select Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Browse the list for PGP Universal Satellite and select Remove.
  3. Click Yes.
  4. When prompted to Unenroll click Cancel to continue.

    Warning: If you select Unenroll, your PGP keypair associated with the PGP Universal Server will be removed. If the key being managed by the server is using the Server Key Mode (SKM), any data encrypted to the key will remain encrypted as cipher text and be .

     
  5. Click Yes to reboot your computer.
  6. After rebooting, reinstall PGP Universal Satellite.

Remove PGP Universal Satellite
