This article contains the download for the Enterprise Vault Server Settings Migration wizard and associated documentation.


Use the wizard to migrate Enterprise Vault 9.0.1 or later servers to target servers running Windows Server 2008 R2 or later. You can use the wizard to migrate to target servers that run Enterprise Vault 9.0.1 or later, and to migrate directly to target servers that run Enterprise Vault version 10.0.

This release introduces support for IPv6, and for Enterprise Vault servers that satisfy the requirements of the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 standard. For more information, see the related article.

  • 2424808: Server Migration Wizard:- Server Migration Wizard (Import Mode) is crashing when clustering services are stopped.

  • 2480197: Export Report does not show information about Centera partition.

  • 2514675: SMW: Dtrace levels the wrong way round.

  • 2399922: Server Migration Wizard:- Network partitions are not getting displayed while importing server settings.

  • 2507326: ServerMigration.exe fails on Turkish systems with the Turkish issue.

  • 2524985: Server Migration import fails if Local Administrators group is not called "Administrators".

  • 2955694: Server Migration Wizard fails if source EV Installation has 64 bit indexes.

  • 3671899: Server Settings Migration Wizard incorrectly identifies an MSCS active node as a passive node
