-Log into the SRAS web portal
-Navigate to: “Module ManagementàConfigurationàData Import”
-Click the link: “download Off-Line Scanner Files” and save to disk or flash drive (This is the scanner executable)
-Click the link: “Generate Scan Request” and save to same location as the scanner executable (This is the list of checks to be performed based on your current policies)
-Take these files to the host to be scanned and execute the scanner
-This will generate an “rccscanresults.xml” file.
- NOTE: If using these files to scan multiple machines, you will need to rename the rccscanresults file (usually after the host or it’s IP) after each scan so as to not overwrite it with subsequent scans.
Navigate to: “Module ManagementàConfigurationàData Import”
-Ensure Data Format is set to “RCC Scan Results Xml”
-Click “Browse” to select the desired results file
-Click the “Import Data” button.
A successful import is indicated by an “Import successful” message as well as a link to the new asset directly under the import dialog box.
