Windows module and Web client requirements
Symantec recommends that you evaluate your computer before the installation to verify that your computer meets or exceeds the minimum requirements.
The Response Assessment Module (RAM) is supported on 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.
The minimum hardware requirements to install the RAM Windows module are as follows:
Pentium 4-compatible or faster processor
256 MB of RAM or higher memory
Approximately 40 MB of available disk space
Super VGA (1024x768) or higher-resolution monitor
Microsoft mouse or compatible device
The minimum software requirements to install the RAM Windows module are as follows:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP2 or later
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 SP2 or later
Microsoft Windows 7/XP Professional with SP2/Vista or later
Microsoft Internet explorer 7.0 or later
Microsoft Office 2007 or later
Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1
Windows Media Player with codecs
The minimum software requirements to access the RAM Web client are as follows:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later
Windows Media Player with codecs
Desktop Experience feature on Windows 2008
