Adding a global user profile exclude entry

You add a profile exclude entry to if you use roaming profiles. This exclusion prevents user profile data from being written to the layer and redirects user profile data to the base. This exclusion allows profile data to roam in environments with roaming profiles.

To add a global user profile exclude entry

  1. In the command line, type SVSCMD excludeallprofiles -y. This command creates a DWORD value that is named ExcludeProfileData under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\FSLX\Parameters\FSL

  2. Restart the computer.
