How to Push Custom Lights Out Restore (LOR) using Backup Exec System Recovery Management Solution 2010 (BESRMS) and Symantec System Recovery 2011 (SSRMS)

Create a custom Symantec Recovery Disk (SRD)
Copy the contents of the SRD into the following location on BESRMS/SSRMS Server :
C:\Program Files\Altiris\Backup Exec System Recovery Management Solution\Web\Software Delivery\LOR\9.0
Delete the below files from the above folder since these are not required for LOR to work :
Bin
Autorun.inf
Browser.exe
Browser.ini
SHLWAPI.DLL
UNICOWS.DLL
From Packages and Policies in BESRMS/SSRMS Console click on configure policy from LightsOut Restore Section and save the changes. This will create SRDConfig.ini file.
Note :- If the above file is not present then Install will fail “Error ECA3041C: The path to the source Symantec Recovery Disk image is missing.” (LORInstall.log present in %temp% on Client)
After the above is done click on Install without User Interface from LOR under Configure Policy in Packages and Policies.
