If necessary, you can start the Remote Agent for Linux or UNIX Servers (Remote Agent) daemon after the operating system starts.

To start the Remote Agent for Linux or UNIX Servers daemon

Use a terminal session to connect to the Linux or UNIX server as the root user.
Navigate to the following directory:

/etc/init.d/

For example:

cd /etc/init.d/
Start the Remote Agent daemon.

For example:

/etc/init.d/VRTSralus.init start
