When you initially install Symantec Endpoint Protection, a trialware license is provided and activated automatically. To continue using Symantec Endpoint Protection beyond the trial period, you must purchase a license. You do not need to reinstall the software.

The trail license period is 60 days.

You perform the actual license upgrade using the License Activation wizard.
