Fixing installation problems

You can download and run the Symantec Endpoint Protection Support Tool to verify that your computers are ready for installation. The support tool is provided with the management server and the client. It is also available on the Symantec Support Web site.

You can prevent threats from attacking computers on your network.

Fixing communication errors

The communication channels between all of the Symantec Endpoint Protection components must be open. These channels include, server to client, server to database, and server and client to the content delivery component, such as LiveUpdate.
