Using Dell Client Manager 2.0 to Identify Laptop Batteries Affected by the
Dell Client Manager 2.0 can be used to identify laptop batteries subject to the recent battery recall issued by Dell. Dell customers who use Dell Client Manager 2.0 and would like to use it to identify affected batteries need to work with their Dell Service Account Manager to facilitate the identification and replacement of affected batteries.
The attached document provides instructions for using Dell Client Manager 2.0 to identify recalled batteries.
The attached XML file is referenced in the instructions and is one of two files required to enable Dell Client Manager 2.0 to identify recalled batteries. The other file must be obtained through you Dell Service Account Manager.
