What are the Best Practice recommendations for upgrading Dell Client Manager to 2.0?
Answer
Because the Dell Client Manager Suite contains many solutions, the best way to upgrade the Suite is from Available Solutions, Segments, Partner Solutions in the Solution Center.
This helps ensure that each component and solution is upgraded or installed for the new version.
Also, the upgrade to Dell Client Manager has been known to take up to 1.5 hours. Aborting a long-running install can corrupt policies and packages and it is recommended that the installation be allowed to run as long as may be needed.
