Obtaining the SHA-1 thumbprint of the code-signing certificate

As part of the procedure for customizing the ClickOnce deployment package, you must supply the SHA-1 thumbprint of your code-signing certificate.
To obtain the SHA-1 thumbprint of the code-signing certificate
On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
Type MMC, and then click OK to open the Microsoft Management Console.
On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.
In the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, click Add.
In the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box, click Certificates, and then click Add.
In the Certificates snap-in dialog box, click My user account, and then click Finish.
Click Close to close the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box.
Click OK to close the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box.
In the console tree at the left, under Certificates - Current User, double-click Personal and then click Certificates.
Double-click the certificate that you want to use for code signing.
On the Details tab of the Certificate dialog box, click the Thumbprint field.
Select the value of the Thumbprint field, and then press Ctrl+C to copy it to the Clipboard.
