Assigning an organizational group to a security role

Assigning an organizational group to a security role lets you specify the users who can view and manage the assets in this organizational group. You can assign an organizational group to a predefined or to a custom security role. If you want to assign the organizational group to a custom security role, you must create the custom security role first.

This task is a step in the process for managing security on an organizational group.

See Managing security on an organizational group.
