Moving volumes from thick to thin LUNs using Veritas Storage Foundation Add-on for Storage Provisioning 4.1

In Veritas Storage Foundation Add-on for Storage Provisioning, you can migrate a volume from thick to thin LUNs.
To move volumes from thick to thin LUNs
In the Veritas Operations Manager console, click Solutions.
In the Solutions view, under Storage Provisioning, click Move Volumes.
In the Move Volumes panel, select Move volumes from thick to thin LUNs, enter the details, and click Next.
See Move Volumes panel options for selecting and specifying volume migration name and description.
In the Move Volumes - Select host and enclosure options panel, select the host and the enclosure from which you want to move the volumes from thick to thin LUNs, and click Next.

In the Move Volumes - Select volume and change volume layout panel, select the check boxes for the volumes that you want to move and click Next.
For information on changing volume layout, refer to, To change the volume layout.
In the Move Volumes - Summary panel, review the information. You can also generate the Impact Analysis Report.

After reviewing the information, click Execute.
To change the volume layout
In the Move Volumes - Select volume and change volume layout panel, press Ctrl and select the volumes for which you want to change the layout, and click Change Volume Layout.
In the Volume Layout dialog box, select the layout options and click Save.
