Use this wizard panel to define or update the volume parameters in a storage template upon creation or update of the storage template.
After you select the volume(s) from the left navigation tree, you have to use the Parameters tab to define or update the parameters for the volume.
Table: Create Storage Template - Volume parameters
If you specify the volume layout as Concat Mirror, Mirror Concat, Stripe Mirror, or Mirror Stripe, you must define the rules for selecting LUNs to host the volume mirrors. In the Rules for selecting LUNs area, you can see tabs corresponding to the number of mirrors that you have specified.
For each mirror, you can define a set of rules that Veritas Operations Manager can use to select LUNs for hosting the mirrors. If you have not specified any rules for selecting LUNs, Veritas Operations Manager displays the message: Any LUN will be selected.
You can click at the bottom of the Rules for selecting LUNs area to open the LUN Selection Rules dialog box, where you can define the rules for selecting LUNs to host the mirrors.
You can click at the bottom of the Rules for selecting LUNs area to edit an existing LUN selection rule.
To know more about the options in the LUN Selection Rules dialog box, See LUN selection rules for creating storage templates.
You can click at the bottom of the Rules for selecting LUNs area to remove an existing LUN selection rule.
To create mirror plex in multiple enclosures, select the check box.
