HPCMS 6.1:  This product does not support all Compaq or HP models.
Dell OMCA 2:  The DCCU has to be used for this as this version cannot do this by default.
DEL OMCA 3:  This product does not support all Dell models.
FSC DeskView:  This product does not support all FSC models.

DELL Open Manage Client Administrator:
Open Manage is Dell's Brand for all their manageability Products - be aware that most Open Manage Products have nothing to do with Altiris!
OMCA basically is a subset of CMS Level 1 - but i.e. has no Patch Management...

The new Release 3.0 has hardware management functionality like HPCM and DeskView...

Also, for further clarification, OMCA is a Dell client only product. DCCU can enable WOL for clients only. The Deployment Solution for Dell Servers add-on will allow you to configure the BIOS on Dell Servers, but WOL is not available for Dell Servers.


Fujitsu-Siemens DeskView:
DeskView is available for Windows, Pocket Loox (Handhelds), FSC Futro´s (XPe Thin Clients) and Displays - so it is a pure Client Solution.
DeskView is free for all new FSC PC´s and Laptops - for some of the older systems a License needs to be purchased...

DeskView is mainly used to manage FSC Clients on the Hardware-Level (set BIOS Settings etc.) and gather hardware inventory (i.e. Serial Numbers of HDDs).


Please contact the vendors to see if they have a tool that will do this, if our products cannot, as you can then use our products to deploy the tool to the targeted machines.
