Macintosh log file size does not match configured log file size

Problem
The log file sizes are all about 43 KB while the system is configured for 256 KB log files.
Environment
Altiris Agent for Macintosh 6.2.1302
Cause
The combined size of all log files (one current and x number of backup files) will not exceed this value. The file size of each individual log file can be calculated as: debug_file_size/debug_backup_copies.
Resolution
This behavior is normal. The client.conf and other documentation may be updated to explain the new formula that includes the backup files.
