The certain order applies when you use scheduled backups with templates.
The following is the order of precedence for the runtime configuration variable settings:
Environment variables that NetBackup sets.

Environment variables that the user sets.
For RMAN backups, the user with the Oracle RMAN send command and parms operand sets these variables.
For XML export archives, the user in the XML export parameter file sets these environment variables.
