About contacting Technical Support

If you have tried to solve a problem, but still need a resolution, you can use MySymantec (see Related Article below) to contact Technical Support over the Internet, or by phone.

To expedite the Technical Support process, do the following:

  • Know your Backup Exec version and revision number.

  • Use one of the diagnostic utilities that included with Backup Exec to collect the information that technical support can use to diagnose your issue.
