Starting the Agent for Linux daemon

If necessary, you can start the Agent for Linux (Linux Agent) daemon after the operating system starts.

See Stopping the Agent for Linux daemon.

To start the Agent for Linux daemon

  1. Use a terminal session to connect to the Linux server as the root user.

  2. Navigate to the following directory:

    /etc/init.d/

    For example:

    cd /etc/init.d/

  3. Start the Linux Agent daemon.

    For example:

    /etc/init.d/VRTSralus.init start
