Specifying spam submission folders

Symantec Email Submission Client creates folders to submit spam emails to Symantec either directly or through a moderator. You can specify these folder names in the Configuration page. Based on the folder names you specify, Email Submission Client creates the folders in the respective mailboxes.

To specify spam submission folders

  1. In the Email Submission Client user interface, click the Configuration tab.

  2. In the Moderator's folder text box, type the folder name that you want to create in the moderator's mailbox.

    The default folder name is Submit Spam.

  3. In the Submission folder text box, type the folder name that you want to create in the submitter's mailbox.

    The default folder name is Report Spam.

    If you configure the Email Submission Client with a moderator, this folder is also created in the moderator's mailbox.

  4. Click Apply.
