Scheduling a system update

The system update process verifies that all spam submission enabled mailboxes contain the submission folder. If you have renamed the submission folder, the system update process updates the name change.

To schedule a system update

  1. In the Email Submission Client user interface, click System Update Schedule.

  2. In the Start update at field, select the appropriate time.

    Symantec recommends that you select a time when the server load is minimum.

    Optionally, select the Run updation at service start/restart option to ensure that the system update process executes when the service starts or restarts.

  3. Click Apply.
