When your Microsoft Exchange Server environment spans across the organization, each site has Client Access Server installations along with hub transport and Mailbox servers. You might want to install the Email Submission Client and subscribe mailboxes from multiple sites for spam message submissions to Symantec.
To install Symantec Email Submission Client on a multisite Exchange environment
Configure Email Submission Client to manage mailbox servers from the other site by adding the Exchange mailbox server in the scope on Exchange Servers page.
Specify the CAS URL of the Client Access Server from the same site where the Email Submission Client is installed.
Select email users for submission on Enable Users page.
While selecting the users for submission, ensure that the Exchange mailbox server is within the scope on Exchange Servers page for the selected users.
Run the Update from System Update page.
The Email Submission Client creates subscriptions for all selected users and creates Report Spam folder in their mailboxes.
