Use this feature to update the target types of simple checks that already have target types associated with them. The target types can only be added in the standards level and only to simple checks. This feature is only available if you update the target types of a custom standard and is disabled for the predefined standards. After you have updated the target types, you can run an evaluation job against the check on both the target types.

The target type for a standard lists the target type of the checks that are present within the standard. For example, consider a standard that contains the checks whose current target type is Windows 2000 Machines.
