NAS file system represents NetApp Qtrees, traditional volumes, flex volumes and Celerra file systems. This namespace provides the capacities of the NAS file systems and also relates them to NAS volumes, storage pools, virtual filer, and physical filers. Table: NAS File System Analysis Metrics displays some commonly used NAS file system metrics.

Number of hosts accessing the shares or LUNs created from the NAS file system and it can be used for chargeback purposes.

Replication Target Capacity

Capacity of LUNs created from NAS file systems that are designated as target LUNs for snapshot or replication techniques.

No Of Targets

Number of LUNs created from NAS file systems that are designated as target LUNs for snapshot or replication techniques.

Physical Tree Quota Used

Physical quota used on which files have been created.

Physical Tree Quota Limit

Physical quota limit up to which files can be created.

Physical Volume Capacity

Physical capacity of the underlying volume.

Physical Free

Actual physical capacity representing the free capacity.

Physical Used

Actual physical capacity representing the used capacity.

No. Of LUNs

Number of LUNs created from the NAS file system.

Tree Quota Used

Quota used on which files have been created.

Tree Quota Limit

Quota limit upto which files can be created.

Volume Capacity

Capacity of the underlying volume.
