Viewing the Veritas Operations Manager Advanced license entitlement reports in Veritas Operations Manager Enterprise Server 5.0

Veritas Operations Manager Enterprise Server provides license entitlement reports that show information on the required licenses for Veritas Operations Manager Advanced.

Symantec determines Veritas Operations Manager Advanced licensing charges based on the following factors:

The number of managed hosts that are not running the Enterprise version of Storage Foundation (or related Symantec storage and server management products)
The array storage capacity

To view a Veritas Operations Manager Advanced license entitlement report

In the Veritas Operations Manager Enterprise Server console, select Settings > License Entitlement and choose one of the reports listed.

The following reports are provided.

Storage Array Capacity License Report

Shows information about the following:

The physical array capacity managed by the Veritas Operations Manager Enterprise Server
The amount of logical storage used by managed hosts with the Storage Foundation Enterprise edition software
The storage subject to licensing, calculated by subtracting the logical storage of the above hosts from the total physical capacity

Shows information about the following:

The number of managed hosts that require Veritas Operations Manager Advanced licenses
