Viewing an enclosure's array port paths using Veritas Operations Manager 5.0

Administrators can view the enclosure's array ports. For each array port within the enclosure, administrators can further determine any array port dependencies.

Administrators can view an enclosure's array port paths, which represent the connection from the host to the LUNs. Administrators can also determine the path status on both the primary and the secondary hosts. Dynamic Multipathing (DMP) requires path information for load balancing and failover on both primary and the secondary hosts.

By using the icons at the top right of the table, you can customize columns, print the table, or export its contents to a CSV file.

To view an enclosure's array port paths

  1. In the Veritas Operations Manager console, select Manage > Enclosures.

  2. Click on an enclosure.

  3. If the enclosure is an EMC VPLEX enclosure, do the following. For other enclosures, skip to step 4.

    • Click the Nodes tab.

    • Click on a node.

  4. Click the Array Ports tab.

  5. Click on an array port.

  6. Click the Paths tab.

  7. In the array port's Paths view, review the information.
