About installing Mail Security on a Microsoft Cluster

You can install Mail Security on the following types of Microsoft Cluster configurations (these configuration types have different installation setups):
Single Copy Clusters (SCC)
See About installing Mail Security on a Single Copy Cluster node
Clustered Continuous Replication (CCR)
See Installing Mail Security on a Clustered Continuous Replication cluster
Note: | Mail Security only supports clustering when the product is installed on a Mailbox server role. |
Install Mail Security individually on each node of the cluster when you install it in a cluster environment. The remote installation feature should not be used.
Do the following to install Mail Security in a cluster environment:
Ensure that your environment meets the preinstallation requirements.

Install Mail Security using the procedures for your cluster configuration.

Configure the cluster resource if you want to use a single copy cluster configuration only.
