Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) is a storage management solution for Oracle database files. HSCL Pack 1 Add-on for Management Server lets you discover Oracle ASM disks groups, the association of ASM files with ASM disk group, and the correlation of Oracle databases with Oracle ASM. It provides the information on the Oracle database that consumes storage from ASM disk group, the information on physical disk, and the volumes that are used to create disk group. The discovery is supported for standalone instances of ASM and Real Application Clusters (RAC) configurations.
