Viewing the ASM information for an Oracle database in Veritas Operations Manager 5.0

You can use the Management Server console to view the ASM instances for a selected Oracle database. You can view the instance name, its state, the associated host, the storage sizes (total, free, and used), and other attributes. You can also view the ASM disk group name, its type, state, family, storage sizes (total, allocated, overhead, and used), and other attributes.

Note:

The ASM tab is available only when the Oracle database consumes storage from ASM disk group.

To view the ASM information for an Oracle database

  1. In the Management Server console, select Manage > Databases.

  2. In the Databases view, click the Oracle database to view its details.

  3. In the details view, click the ASM tab.
