Can I run the DSWeb console on a 64-bit OS?

I've installed Deployment Server 6.9 sp1 onto a Windows 2003 Server x64 operating system. I'd now like to use the DSWeb console as well. Can I use the DSWeb console on an x64 OS?
Answer
Unfortunately, the answer to this question is no. The DSWeb console was build on .NET 1.1 which doesn't have support for the x64 operating system. Please refer to the Microsoft article here - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc785813.aspx
You can however force the .NET to run in 32-bit mode as outlined in this Juice article - http://www.symantec.com/community/article/4954/installing-configuring-deployment-solution-69-detailed-quick-install - We will not support this process so please be aware that you're doing this at your own risk.Legacy ID
