Setting the date and time for your account

The first time a new management console user logs in, they are asked to set their time preferences.

  • Time zone

  • Automatic adjustment for daylight savings time

These time preferences are reflected within the management console pages, reports, and alerts. Date and time are displayed as: 27 JUL 10 and 03:44:32 PM.

Note:

Your endpoint computer agents display date and time based on the Windows Date and Time Properties of each computer.

To change date and time preferences

  1. From any page, hover over the email address associated with your account and click the My Profile link in the management console banner. The Summary tab of your My Profile page opens.

  2. Use the drop-down menu to pick your Time Zone.

  3. Use the check box under the Time Zone drop-down menu to automatically have the management console time display adjusted for daylight savings time.

  4. Click Update Info at the bottom of the page.
