Issue

You are upgrading Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition or Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and need to know whether you should also upgrade Symantec System Center.

Solution

If you are upgrading Norton or Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition servers, you must uninstall the existing Symantec System Center and install the version of the Symantec System Center from the same installation files that you are using to install the server. Symantec recommends running a build of Symantec System Center that is the same or newer than the antivirus servers.
For more information read the document Version compatibility between the Symantec System Center, Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition, and Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition.

To find the version of Symantec System Center, read the document Determining the version of Symantec System Center.
