You have Windows NT, 2000, or 2003 clustered servers, and you need to know whether you should scan the quorum resource.
To protect the servers, each cluster node should have Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition installed and protecting the local file system, including the location where the quorum log file is stored.
Note: If you are troubleshooting problems on the cluster nodes, it may be beneficial to exclude the quorum folder temporarily. Once the troubleshooting process is complete, remove the exclusion to ensure protection.
For a more in depth discussion of quorum resources, read the Microsoft article Quorums in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Clusters.
