Issue

You have installed a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and discover that there is a conflict between the policy settings for the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and the client when installed on the same machine.

Solution

To resolve this conflict, ensure that the client and the manager have the same policy. To do this, you will need to create a special client group for the client(s) that are installed on managers. This will allow these special clients to have a different policy than all of the other clients that can be configured to match the schedule established in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM).
