Error 1068 while starting the Symantec Antivirus service on the Local Computer

Error 1068 - "The Dependancy Service or Group failed to Start", occurs on the Local Computer while starting the Symantec Antivirus service
The following error occurs on Startup, or when starting the Symantec Antivirus Service:
- Could not start the Symantec Antivirus service on the Local Computer.
- Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.
Symantec Settings Manager service is set to Disabled.
The Symantec Antivirus Service is dependant upon the startup of the Symantec Settings Manager service.If the Symantec Settings Manager service is set to Disabled,the Symantec Antivirus service cannot be started when needed.
To resolve this issue:
- Set the startup type of the Symantec Settings Manager service to automatic and start the service.
- Then try starting the Symantec Antivirus service again.
