How to create a Symantec Endpoint Protection install package that will install to a different drive

You would like to install Symantec Endpoint Protection to a drive other than the default C drive.


To create the install package for installation on a non-default drive, follow the steps below:
    1. Open the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Console.
    2. Select Admin.
    3. Click Client Install Settings.
    4. Click Add Client Install Settings.
    5. Type in a name for the settings.
    6. Type in a description (optional).
    7. Enable the Install to a custom installation folder option.
    8. Enter the drive and path where you would like to install.
      Example: "D:\Program Files\Symantec Endpoint Protection".
    9. Make any other desired changes in the settings area.
    10. Click OK to save these Client Install Settings.
    11. Click Client Install Packages.
    12. Click Export Client Install Package.
    13. Under the "Installation Settings and Features" you can select the custom "Client Install Settings" under "Pick the customized installation settings below" drop down menu.
    14. Complete the remaining items in the "Export Package" screen.
    15. Click OK to begin creating the package.
