The VERITAS Cluster Server GUI (hagui) session is hanging or is hung.

Solution



Sometimes the GUI is not actually hung, but is busy doing a refresh. This has been seen to happen at times when running old X libraries (on UNIX machines).  From the VCS Release Notes:
       
       "GUI Faulty Display"
       
The NT GUI does not display large service groups properly. It also fails to display properly on NCD XTerminal due to different versions of X11 libraries."
       
Try to resize the window.  If it allows resizing the window then the GUI is not actually hung, but is busy refreshing / repainting.
