If you are distributing an Agent package from a Windows 2003 web server system with Internet Information Services (IIS), you must configure the web site properties to add a MIME type for the .dat and .ini file extensions that are to be downloaded. Otherwise the package cannot be downloaded successfully.

To add a MIME type:

1. Start the Internet Information Services console.
2. Right-click the Web site and select Properties.
3. Click the HTTP Headers tab.
4. Click the Mime Types button.
5. In the MIME Types dialog box, click New. A dialog box is displayed in which you can add the file extension.
6. In the Extension field type the file extension .dat, and in the MIME type field, type a description such as DAT file.
7. Repeat step 6 for .ini files.
8. Click OK to save the settings.
