The virtual desktop (VD) writes all browser session files within the VD itself at the following location: %homepath%\local settings\Temporary Internet Files. If you monitor the
same location in your normal desktop you will find that 'Temporary Internet Files' does not increase in size as you browse the internet while in the VD.

If you configure the cache cleaner to only clean the VD browser session, then it will clean up...

%homepath%\local settings\Temporary Internet Files
%homepath%\local settings\History

...within the VD only. If you configure the cache cleaner to clean all files, then it will clear out...

%homepath%\local settings\Temporary Internet Files
%homepath%\local settings\History

...for the VD as well as within your normal desktop user profile.
