SAV/SEP for Macintosh fails to operate properly under Mac OS X with drives formatted as HFS Extended, case-sensitive.
On startup there are Code 6 errors, Auto-Protect does not perform scans, and the Symantec AntiVirus application will not scan selected volumes.
Default virus definition engine files are not compatible with HFS Extended, case-sensitive formatted volumes.
This issue is addressed in Symantec Endpoint Protection for Mac version 12.1.2. Please update to this release for full compatibility with HFS Extended, case-sensitive formatted volumes.
