You want to know if Microsoft SQL database mirroring will work with the SEPM.
Based on failover (configuration of a principle, mirror and witness), the SEPM will lose communication with the principle (instance) it was pointed at when it becomes the mirror and the mirror become the principle (similar to active-passive to passive-active failover). Communication with the database will be severed until failover returns to the original principle that the SEPM was configured for. SEPM anticipates a single SQL instance (much like a 'virtual IP') and a seamless back-end (clustering, etc) that is handled within SQL.
The product does not currently support use of database mirroring.
