When attempting to use LiveUpdate Administrator 2.1 (LUA 2.1) for Windows to obtain virus definition updates for Symantec AntiVirus 10.2 for Macintosh (SAV for Mac) the download of the updates fail.
The error message reads:
"Source server Symantec LiveUpdate is in middle of uploading content. Hence skipping download of some content viz. NAV for Macintosh Virus Defs. This content can be downloaded in the next download cycle."
This is an issue with time and date stamp synchronization with minitri files and the current version of LiveUpdate Administrator 2.1 that is used with Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) for Windows.
This problem is resolved in LiveUpdate Administrator 2.1.3 for Windows. To take advantage of this and other improvements, please upgrade to the latest available release of LUA 2.x.
