You created a backup of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager database and you upgraded Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to a newer version. You are having problems with the current database and you want to know if you can restore the database from the previous version?
When restoring a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager database, it is required that you restore the database from the same version of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager as changes are made to the database structure such as an updated schema. After upgrading Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, it is necessary to create a new backup specific to that version.
